One factor that may apply would be whether or not the real game went five innings, and who the teams are that are playing. If they aren’t in the same division and the teams won’t be meeting again until near the end of the regular season that could be why they can’t make up the game right away. The timing of that make-up game could be critical because if those teams don’t meet again until that late in the season the league could already be in the fantasy post season and teams may not have the same players.
