Baseball gloves are meant for older athletes. As you get older the glove gets bigger. T-ball gloves are much smaller.. meant for younger kids and the gloves are designed so that the child can handle the ball better. Softball gloves are meant for the bigger "softball" than baseball gloves are. If you are playing in an amature league (church league or intramural) the difference between baseball and softball gloves doesn’t make that big of a difference.. personal preference. However, if you are a serious athlete on a baseball or softball team.. get the appropriate glove.. it makes a difference.
