They make gloves with a batting glove type deal that covers the wrist. But she should basically go with what feels good.

A baseball glove that fits good is very importnant. There are adjusting glove with a tether strap that lets you tighten to fit better. A glove should not cover your wrist though. When you do find a glove, keep a baseball or softball in it when you are not using it. It will help break in the glove and make it easier to catch a ball. A glove that is broken in has more flexibility. You don’t have to spend alot of money to get a glove to fit your needs. After all, you arejust having a catch with your friend. I would head to the local sporting goods store and take a associate and ask which would be the best fit. A decent glove would probably run about $40-$50 bucks

Basically she should go with what's the most comfortable but the glove isn't supposed to cover her wrist. She wouldn't have any flexibility with her wrist if it covered it. But the glove should come to the bottom of her hand.
