You’re going to need a bat bag to put all your stuff in, maybe some sunglasses and i think you use an adult bat. Good luck.

I would stick with the basics for now. You only NEED cleats and a glove. batting gloves are nice, so you should probably pick those up too. but the high school teams around here typically provide matching helmets and bats. If you want to pick up a good bat, take some of your teammates along to the sporting goods store and see which one they prefer. Then just pick the one in the right weight/length for you.

when you get cleats make sure the you know the leagues regs on metal cleats. Also the team should have helmets for you. Batting gloves are good but not necessary. And i would recommend your own bat if you can, you need an adult bat for high school baseball, and it has to have a -3 rating ( meaning that the weight and length have to be 3 numbers apart, i.e. a bat of 33 inches must be 30 ounces) Good luck

You will need a cup and sliding shorts. Many sliding shorts are now sold with a cup included that have a special compartment in the front that will hold the cup securely while you wear the sliding shorts. Mizuno sells them for around $15. Make sure you also get a comfy pair of socks for gamedays, belt in your team colors. And the bat that you will choose will be adult, but make sure that it’s allowed and can be used for High School baseball as well…..cause some can’t. The ones that say Senior League are made for over 40 yr old Mens Leagues.
